Sondri is a property maintenance coordination service operated by Cordix LLC, a Maryland limited liability company. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Who this covers
Sondri is used by three kinds of people: property management staff who hold accounts with us, contractors who receive and accept work, and tenants who submit maintenance requests. This policy applies to all three.
Information we collect
- Account information — name, email address, mobile phone number, company affiliation, and role, for property management staff and contractors.
- Tenant information — name, unit, email address, and mobile phone number, provided to us by the property management company that serves that tenant.
- Maintenance request content — descriptions, photos, scheduling details, status updates, and messages exchanged between tenants, contractors, and property staff.
- Service records — timestamps of assignment, acknowledgement, scheduling, arrival, and completion, which form the accountability record the service exists to produce.
- Technical information — IP address, browser type, and access times, collected automatically when you use the service.
How we use it
- To route maintenance requests to appropriate contractors and coordinate scheduling.
- To send transactional notifications by SMS and email about the status of a maintenance request.
- To maintain the timestamped record of each step in a work order.
- To authenticate users and secure accounts.
- To operate, support, and improve the service.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell it.
SMS and mobile information
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service providers, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Messages sent through Sondri are transactional and relate to a specific maintenance request. We do not send marketing text messages. See our SMS Terms for message frequency, rates, and how to opt out.
How information is shared
We share information only as needed to deliver the service:
- Between parties to a work order. A contractor assigned to a request sees the information needed to complete it. A tenant sees the status of their own request. Property management staff see requests for properties they manage.
- With service providers who operate infrastructure on our behalf — hosting, database, email delivery, and SMS delivery — under contract and only for that purpose.
- When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Sondri, our users, or the public.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Retention
We retain maintenance records for as long as the property management company's account is active, because the accountability record is the substance of the service. Contractor access to a tenant's contact information is limited to the period an assignment is open, and is withdrawn once the work order is no longer active.
Security
Access to data is restricted at the database level by role and organization, so that a user can reach only the records their role permits. We use encrypted connections for all data in transit. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
- Text messages. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them. See our SMS Terms.
- Access and correction. Contact us to request a copy of your information or to correct it.
- Deletion. Contact us to request deletion. Some records may be retained where a property management company requires them or where the law does.
Children
Sondri is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
We may update this policy. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page.
